Optimism is like a flower,

a common beauty in certain parts of the world,

a rumored and rare jewel in others,

Optimism fills hearts with joy,

making people grin and let their inner joy show,

opening their true emotions and letting go of all the negative ones,

Optimism is like a breath of fresh air,

waking you up to smiles that are rare,

making yourself helpful and fair,

Optimism is not a privilege,

for it is a gift for you to give,

for spreading happiness to others makes me live,

Optimism is contagious, 

like a disease but it helps and doesn't harm,

Making countless others follow your lead,

Optimism is fading from the earth, 

I feel like I am one of the few left on a joyful turf,

So I ask you what will you choose,

the future is up to you.
