School
One of the places I like to attend,
A place of studying and learning,
Where some kids complain about working,
They talk about skipping homework,
Just because they are not motivated,
School was also a place of pain in the past,
Bullying and teasing just came after me,
Just because I could not control myself very easily,
Kids would bully me on the bus,
And I barely had any friends and did not have the guts,
I felt alone and hurt most of the time,
Until I came to Leaves which healed my mind,
I met new people and Smiled more often,
For I had not experienced these positive emotions for a long time,
Now I am happy and content,
with my academic success,
And I have learned how to have fun,
and my smile beams like the sun.
